You can then follow these steps to publish a property to the Rentals United Channel Manager.
N.B. Before you can publish a property you should have photo's available for the property. If you already have a development image and Unit type images uploaded and are happy to use these then you don't need to do anything else as it will use them (Note you need a min of 6 Unit Type images for Rental United).
- Go to the Properties menu and select 'Units'.
- Here you will be shown a list of units. Select the unit you wish to publish.
- Check if the 'Floor' and 'Floor Space' details are filled out. If they are, skip on to step 5. If not, select 'Edit Unit'.
- Fill out the details for 'Floor' and 'Floor Space', and then click 'Update Unit'.
- If you want to upload specific images for this property then go to the 'Unit Locations' tab on the Unit. If you already have images for your unit which you are happy to use then skip to step 7.
- Select the icon of a plus sign with the image logo next to it in order to add images to each Internal Location. You should add images that correspond with each Internal Location, so for example if you want to upload an image of the kitchen then select the icon previously described that is next to 'Kitchen'. Any general photos of the property should be added to 'Apartment'.
- Once you have uploaded your images, or if you had them uploaded already, you can upload the property to Rentals United. To do this go to the 'Integrations' tab.
- Select 'Edit Unit'.
- Tick the box next to where it says 'Publish to Rentals United'.
- The system will automatically copy the property name & description over from the General Tab but you can change this if you want something different to appear in Rentals and online channels.
- Select a rate to be used for this property. Click the blue magnifying glass to get a list of available rates.
- You would typically have a dedicated Rate Plan for Rentals/Online Channels. In the example below we have an undefined rate plan.
- Once you have selected a Rate Plan, select 'Update Unit' and it will be published to Rentals United.
- To check it has been successfully sent to Rental United you can refresh your browser and check the Unit now has an External ID. It may take up to 5 mins to get an External ID.
- Login to your Rentals United account and go to the 'My Properties' section. You should now see the property listed. If you have trouble finding it you can see the properties external ID by putting your mouse over the property name in rentals and it will popup it's external ID. You can then match this against the External ID in ReRum PMS.
- Repeat this for any other properties you wish to publish to Rentals United.
